Dr. Mary Bowers
Dr. Bowers has been a veterinarian since 1996. Ever since she was a child, she knew she wanted to be a vet and used to practice on her stuffed animals (and a few very patient pets!). She purchased Townsville Small Animal Care in 2007 and has loved serving the local community.
Dr. Bowers is married and has 2 children. Her own personal menagerie includes two dogs, a cat, three turtles, and a dozen or so fish. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, scrapbooking, and reading.
Our birds are happy and healthy
My wife and I have been raising cockatoos for decades. Finding a vet who knows how to care for exotic animals, who genuinely care about them, can be difficult. The team at Townsville Small Animal Care have been nothing but a pleasure to work with.
